How many times have you been in a situation when you have to rely on your instincts and take a split second decision, which has been reconsidered and many a times doubted upon? Ever bothered noticing a factor, which remains common in all those decisions? You either eliminate the risk, or take it and then follow it with the opposite. Either ways, you land up being Aggressively Defensive or Defensively Aggressive.
Once a professor quoted, " In life, there is no third way. It is either Black or White. There is no Grey." But if you realize, we always land up being on the gray track for some reason which makes our life simple. Then why do these Black & White ways even exist? Why, when we are going to walk on the simplest path, do we have two choices, neither of which are going to be chosen? The answer is straightforward. Very few people are courageous enough to face a raging storm and still retain the confidence of battling through it. The smell of victory is what they live for. It is for them that Life has kept those options still open. What makes them win if the start is the same for all of us? Even they have taken a decision in the same way as us. The difference is the will to go through the pain, smile while being in trouble and facing the problem right from front. Believe me, no matter how hard you try, you WILL give up।

How clear we are with our decisions and with our instincts.The confidence we have in us makes us what we are. In life yes there is no 3rd way...the only way is what we make...be it 1st or 2nd...

Hmm I don't quite agree with: "No matter how hard you try, you WILL give up!". If you try a little harder, you don't have to give up!! :) As Pranky says, persistence is the key! :)
